Genuine Schwarwald Germany Ceramic Beer Stein King 1I have had this beer stein shelf displayed or stored since it was obtained in 1976 during a european trip. This is a beautifully crafted stein portraying a true german theme that includes a cuckoo clock and images of the castles and scenery of the villages of the schwarzwald region of germany. Each village is identified under its scene or castle. This piece still has its made ni west germany sticker and the studio markings, original king 1 and the number 907 (identifying the piece number of a limited production of this stein design), on the stein's bottom. This stein stands 16 form bottom to top. The pewter stein lid is still in place, but the thumb prong of the lid is broken off and no longer exist. This is a great piece for any german beer aficionado or collector of unique german beer steins. Everything ships by ups in carefully prepared protective packaging. |
